Ariat is a family-owned equestrian company, founded by Beth Cross in 1993. Cross grew up on a working horse farm in Pennsylvania, watching Secretariat compete. She says that “Secretariat’s big heart and competitive spirit were the motivations behind naming our company Ariat.”
