Barbour was born in 1894 by John Barbour, a true visionary dedicated to meeting the needs of hardworking fishermen in coastal England. It’s now a fifth-generation family-owned business. Barbour's classic wax jackets are still manufactured by hand in their factory in the original Simonside location. In addition to the iconic waxed cotton jacket, the brand’s collection has expanded to include the famous Barbor quilted jacket, riding jacket, shirts, vests, dresses, footwear, accessories, and other apparel.
