Acavallo Sensitive Bit

We love the Acavallo Sensitive Bit because of its arched and flattened mouthpiece with flexible steel cable reinforcement.

Want a bit that is soft and secure?  Then this is sure to be a solid purchase, promising to spread pressure evenly.  Pick yours up today, or have it shipped right to your door, this mouthpiece is perfect for your pony.

Horses love this new Acavallo Sensitive bit for a wide variety of reasons:

  • It is made of an innovative, anti-allergic plastic material instead of a heavy and/or cold metal or metal alloy.
  • Its slightly arched and flattened mouthpiece ensures that pressure on the tongue, jaws, and mouth corners, if applicable, is distributed evenly.
  • The one-piece design of mouthpiece and rings prevents a one-sided squeezing or pinching of tongue or yaws, as well as painful irritations of the palate (no “nutcracker effect”).
  • It enhances the confidence of the horse in the rider’s hand because of its quiet and comfortable positioning in the mouth, helping the horse to find its own balance.
  • Due to its integrated, flexible steel cable reinforcement, this bit provides for a soft, yet very secure control of the horse.
  • An ideal choice especially for the schooling of young and the correction of difficult horses.
  • Made in Italy

Acavallo bits & bit accessories offer no guarantee in the event of biting on the products. Acavallo bits and accessories with bite marks are not covered under warranty.

Due to the contagious nature of the equine disease EHV 1 and per biosecurity measure guidelines suggested by the American Association of Equine Practitioners, The Farm House will no longer accept returns on bits.

Interesting / Nice to have in the arsenal

Was browsing online and it caught my eye, horse seems comfortable in it, with the fixed attachment areas finding the correct sized bridle where this lays correctly is important (i.e. doesn't work so well with a Micklem). Horse has gotten tongue over it once but again I think that's more of a bridle adjustment issue. Provides nice gentle contact for a horse that normally bounces off metal bits.
