Check out this used Luc Childéric FAP Close Contact Saddle with a 17" seat, ready for its next rider! The FAP is a French-made jumping saddle designed for riders who appreciate a little more freedom in their seat without sacrificing balance or support over fences. Its semi-flat, wider seat offers an open feel, while the less-forward flap encourages a longer, more natural leg position. Whether you're spending the afternoon schooling on the flat or working through a course of fences, the FAP offers a versatile design for both.
We love this saddle for its open, comfortable seat and longer size 3 flap, offering a balanced feel for riders who prefer a little more freedom of movement in their jumping saddle.
This particular saddle features a medium tree with a higher pommel, measuring approximately 5" dot to dot, and a dark brown leather finish. It is in used condition with visible rubbing, creasing, and darkening throughout the leather, particularly along the seat, flaps, underside, and billets. These areas show cosmetic wear from previous riding, giving the leather a broken-in appearance. Please review all photos and video for a closer look at its condition.

The Childéric FAP is designed with a semi-flat, wide seat that combines rider freedom with the balance and support needed for jumping. Its less-forward flaps encourage a natural leg position, making the model suitable for flatwork as well as jumping. The FAP design also features progressive-density foam panels intended to promote close contact and even pressure distribution.

Return Policy
-You may return most new, unused & unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned to us in new condition, which includes the product's original packaging. Custom pieces, treats, oral supplements & bits are not refundable.
-A 15% restocking / open box fee will apply to all products returned with damaged or defaced manufacturer packaging. To avoid this fee, please put all returns or exchanges in appropriate packing materials such as a separate box or shipping bag. Items returned to us with shipping labels, tape, hand writing on the manufacturer's box will be automatically subject to the 15% open box / restocking fee.
-Items qualifying for free shipping which are returned will have shipping costs deducted from the refund.
-Shipping charges are non-refundable.
-Items purchased from our Sale Room, or our Online Auction Site are ineligible for refunds.
-Sales are final on all custom items.
-Refunds may take up to 30 business days after your return has been received to be processed.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply fill out the return paperwork sent with your purchase and ship it back to us with your contact information. If you are returning a high value item, we recommend insuring your package. to your account. Can't locate the return paperwork? No problem, simply email [email protected], we will happily email you a copy. If you have an online account with us, you can also begin the return process from within your online order. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. You can choose from FedEx or USPS. Please note the cut off to ship
