Jump'in Thin Flat Reclining Pelham Bit

We love the Jump'In Think Flat Reclining Pelham Bit, because the Pelham bit is a great compromise between the bridle and the double bridle. It offers a lever action. The strength is dependent on the cheeks length, the curb chain adjustment and how it is assembled. This bit makes the horse give in due to the neck and exercises pressure on the mandibles.

The flat cannon is atypical but is very comfortable for certain horses as it articulates around an axis (90°) and offers a large contact surface to the horse. The thinness of the cannon makes it stronger. This Pelham bit can be used directly with two reins or with four reins. Therefore, the curb chain action can be softened by using other curb chain types as leather or nylon ones.

Rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.
