We asked one of our favorite adult amateur rider influencers, Sarah Bachor from Oxers2Oncology to tell us all her thoughts on the absolutely stunning new R.J. Classics Monterey show coat. Here’s what she had to say!
Did you hear RJ Classic’s tried and true Monterey show coat got some upgrades for 2024?! Removable white cuffs? Number holes? Yes, it’s true.
You can now have all of the features of those high-ticket brands in the $500 range. If you’re like me and do most if not all of your own care and preparation on show day the removable cuffs are quite honestly invaluable.
I’ll be real with you guys, the first time I wore the coat I quite literally destroyed the white cuffs. I was bracing myself for the impact of disappointment for when they did not come clear. Much to my surprise with a little Oxiclean away went all of the major stains and dirt. I cannot wait to reap the benefits of the polished look in the hot summer months of seemingly having a long sleeve show shirt but in fact I’m rocking a sleeveless version! Don’t worry the thought makes me gasp too.
Not only are there hidden number holes but the 3 button closure is supported by a hidden zipper closure to really clean up the look. The fabric has stretch and comfort but also has structure to flatter a wide variety of body types.
If you were not already sold on this coat RJ Classics released the most stunning shade of green in a show coat I have ever seen – vintage olive.
RJ, well done. 15/10 stars, seriously! Run, don’t walk to Farm House Tack to add this show coat to your wardrobe before it sells out… AGAIN!
