Farm House Tack Annual Staff Gift Picks

It's that time of year again! The horses are fresh, leaves crunch under foot and we are slowly breaking out the long sleeves, sweaters and vests. Another winter season is nearly here.

That means only one thing! It's time for our annual Staff picks holiday gift giving guide! Not sure what to get your favorite equestrian or horse enthusiast? Perhaps a gander at some of our top picks will help you find inspiration for the perfect gift!

This year we start with Jasmine! Jasmine is an equestrian specialist at our Landrum location. She is OBSESSED with the Mountain Horse Sovereign boots, especially the tonal brown ones! She loves the great fit at a great price point. They fit great, look amazing and everyone who tries them on LOVES them.

Next up we have Kasey, newly promoted manager of our shipping department. Kasey really loves the look of the Charles Owen Halo Helmet with Mips. The MIPS offers that extra bit of protection that could make all the difference in the event of a fall. Rikki found this fabulous double bridle from KL Select that she'd love to find wrapped up for her this year. If you've ever shopped in the store, you've probably met Vicki Wood. Vicki's an avid golfer when she's not at work. She travels regionally to participate in tournaments. The interior pockets are perfect for keeping essentials handy and the stylish design will make this your go to bag!

Bailey had a hard time choosing this year, we couldn't choose for her because both her picks were top notch! Her first pick is a set of the Barbour Women's Ellery pajamas in classic Barbour plaid. She loves how soft and comfy they are, and has visions of dancing sugar plums while she cuddles up bed time. Judging by her picture, Bailey and Dylan's pup Charlotte are clearly fans of all things Barbour!

Helmets are super popular this year and it should serve as no surprise that Bailey from our TIEC location also has her heart set on a special helmet too! Her top pick is the Kask Star Lady Farm House Tack Custom Crystal helmet. Bailey can't decide between these two helmets and it's no wonder, they are both crusted in dazzling crystals that dance on fire when hit by the light.

Meet Destani, She works in our receiving department checking in deliveries and product. She opened our Fall/Winter arrivals from Equiline to find the Equiline Gichog quilted metallic backpack in beetle green. It was love at first sight! This backpack is super spacious, and just the right size to carry everything she needs to the barn, work and everywhere in between! Also available in metallic black and metallic champaign.

Some of you may be familiar with Ryanne, she's our operations manager. She keeps everything behind the scenes running smoothly. Her pick this year is the Equiline GlossiG Eco-Fur Jacket. Her favorite feature is the extra soft exterior and interior. The eco-fur has a luxurious feel against the skin. The pockets and silver tone trim really complete the look.

Meet Camryn, you'll find her in our receiving department checking in all kinds of deliveries and entering them into our inventory system. She just let everyone know that she is expecting a 2 legged addition to her family next year and we are super excited for her! Her pick was the Ariat Saratoga Cardigan in grey plaid. It's just the thing for those chilly days that warm up quick her in the South. This warm but light weight cardigan has great pockets and the grey plaid goes with lots of pieces in her closet. Definitely a three season piece!

Many of you may know Morgan, the team lead of our Customer Service department. She loves the Barbour Alder Tweed vest. Beautifully tailored with plenty of functional pockets, including an interior cell pocket at the left chest. This stunning vest has been incredibly popular this season, the feminine tones of this plaid tweed help it to go with a variety of pieces. Pair it with a base layer on warmer days, or a sweater when it's chilly, either way it's a winning look! Her favorite features are the leather trim accents, the interior phone pocket and the faux fur lining on the detachable hood.

Meet Sara, some of you may know her from shopping at the store, or maybe from customer service for online sales. Sara's top pick is the Chestnut Bay Essential AP Duffle Bag. I can see why, it fits EVERYTHING you need at the show in one carry all bag. Seriously one of our petite employees fits comfortably in this bag, not even kidding. This spacious gear bag has pockets and slots for all your essentials to help you stay organized on show day. If you don't own trailer, and compete regularly, this bag is for you! Pack it up the night before, scoop it up on your way out the door to meet your horse at the show.

Next up we have Abby, you'll find her in our shipping department. If you've ever ordered from us online, chances are Abby handled your order. Abby loves the fashion forward look of the Equiline GatheG metallic jacket - are we starting to notice a trend here? The champagne color really makes Abby's beautiful blue eyes stand out. She loves the Eco-Fur lined trim as well as the Italian design. The down fill and metallic exterior are sure to keep her cozy and stylish this winter!

Surely everyone knows Bobbye by now? Bobbye works in fulfillment is such a natural in front of the camera we frequently borrow her for modeling duties. Her favorite piece this fall is hands down the Kerrits Good Gallop Vest, paired with her second favorite piece the R.J. Classics Maddie Show Shirt in Caviar. She loves how roomy the vest is, perfect for layering on cooler days. The stretch panels keep the vest from restricting her range of motion while working around the barn. The embroidered galloping horse accenting the back yoke of the vest complete the piece along with functional pockets. Here, she's wearing the Spruce green, this vest is also available in Black and Admiral blue.

My turn! My favorite piece by far this season is the Cavallo Ella jacket in Red Wine. This jacket has all the bells and whistles for me to wear around the barn and elsewhere. First off POCKETS -- not silly show pockets but fully functional pockets. It also has a pocket at the left chest to tuck air-pods, keys, sunglasses (treats?) etc. Oh, whats this on the interior? ANOTHER POCKET which fits my phone perfectly! Yup, I'm in love with this coat!

I'm sure some of you would like to know the other features.
This jacket also has cuffed sleeves to help keep out the elements and keep my hands warm. A two way zipper so the jacket doesn't bunch off when you're in saddle, the smooth front and back keep the coat from picking up barn debris like shavings and hay and the logo work on the exterior gives the jacket a sporty look.

I love that their pieces always have a small crystal accent somewhere and this piece is no exception. You'll find one crystal at the zipper pulls on the front of the coat as well as the exterior pockets.
