AETA Dallas 2025: Brands, Trends & What Caught Our Eye

Heather Warren

The January 2026 American Equestrian Trade Association (AETA) Show in Dallas is always one of our favorite chances to reconnect with brands, preview what’s coming next, and spot trends that riders will actually care about in the months ahead.

From apparel and boots to leather goods and technical innovations, here’s a snapshot of what stood out to us this year.

Sixteen Cypress

We spent time with Emily from Sixteen Cypress and were excited to see their continued expansion across disciplines. Standout pieces included beautifully designed saddle pads, polo shirts, and long-sleeve base layers, along with an expanded color palette and new pant styles for both hunter/jumper and dressage riders. Sixteen Cypress continues to impress with thoughtful design that blends function and style.

Ego7

While we can’t share details on everything we saw just yet, Ego7 had plenty to talk about at market. One area of focus was their apparel lineup — especially compression tops that riders are already buzzing about for their fitted comfort and performance feel. These new arrivals are shaping up to be strong additions to the Ego7 collection.

TRUST Equestrian

Michelle met with Josie from TRUST, where innovation was front and center. In addition to practical boot care solutions, TRUST continues to lead the way with their WHIS communication system — designed to help riders and trainers communicate more effectively during training. It’s exciting to see technology being applied thoughtfully to improve rider experience.

Welligogs

Welligogs’ booth was buzzing with interest, and for good reason. Known for their elegant outerwear, this season’s standouts included raincoats, refined tweed styles, and rich navy tones throughout the collection. The balance of classic equestrian style with modern performance continues to make Welligogs a rider favorite.

AJR Sport

Michelle sat down with Adam from AJR Sport to talk through new product developments. AJR showcased new rubber bits and girths, continuing to expand their already impressive lineup. Their focus on quality materials and rider-horse comfort was evident throughout the booth. See the interview below!

Equinavia

At Equinavia, apparel and outerwear were key talking points. The Astoria Long Heated Jacket and Eloise Heated Vest drew plenty of attention for riders looking to stay warm without bulk. It’s worth noting that these pieces are compatible with standard SB battery packs, making them easy to integrate into existing gear. We also spotted new blankets, including the Thunder 360 Midweight.

Essex Classics

Michelle met with Melissa from Essex Classics, where layering pieces took center stage. The Hampton Vest and Up Hoodie stood out, along with updates that expand schooling options within their apparel line. Essex continues to deliver polished, practical pieces riders can wear every day.

Tailored Sportsman

We caught up with Susan from Tailored Sportsman to preview new base layer fabrics, breech swatches, updated shirt styles, and a fresh lineup of belts. Seeing colors and textures in person is always a highlight, and these upcoming releases gave us plenty to look forward to.

RJ Classics

Michelle met with Jennifer from RJ Classics, where breeches, base show shirts, jackets, and outerwear rounded out a strong presentation. RJ Classics continues to offer versatile pieces that move seamlessly from schooling days to the show ring.
