Korsteel Double Hinged Uxeter Kimberwicke Bit

1 review

We love the Korsteel Double Hinged Uxeter Kimberwicke Bit because the double-jointed mouthpiece works on the tongue, mouth corners, and bars, slotted rings allow use as a snaffle. The copper roller helps keep the horse's attention to the rider while double hinge action is helpful on horses with a low pallet. The double hinge design keeps the middle of the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth when reins are used. Dual slots offer a range of leverage to help with steering and control through the curb chain.

  • Copper roller in the center of the mouthpiece encourages salivation and relaxation and discourages fixing and leaning on the forehand
  • Fixed cheek bit offering a stronger alternative to snaffle bits
  • Slotted cheekpiece gives two alternative rein slots for different strengths
Due to the contagious nature of the equine disease EHV 1 and in accordance to biosecurity measures suggested by the American Association of Equine Practitioners we are no longer able to accept returns on bits.
