Loose ring bits are the simplest in terms of action. This thin hollow bit has no lever action. The thin and light cannons give a slightly stronger action. The slight play between the cannons and the rings helps relaxing the horse and taking it off the hand. This bit suits horses sticking to the bit that need to be taken off of it without any severe action.
