Aeta Dallas Trade Show Fall 2025

Future Of Equestrian Fall 2025

Farm House

It’s one of my favorite seasons! Trade show season!  If you’ve been a fan for a while you know I head to the American Equestrian Trade Show twice a year to find the latest greatest new items there are on the horizon for our industry in the coming months!

The Dallas Market Center is an amazing venue located outside the medical and arts districts in Dallas Texas, and let me tell you it is 15 floors of shopping BLISS!

We were lucky enough to catch direct flights both to and from Dallas this year which makes travel so much easier and we landed an amazing stay at the Hilton Anatole for our trip. The hotel has a swim resort attached, next summer we are definitely coming in early to make use of the lazy river!

Ok, on to the good stuff!! Wednesday dawns early with the anticipation of new things. I grab some Starbucks and head straight to the trade shows. This time, I’ve made big plans. I’ve got a notebook full of booths I want to check out on the western floors. But first, it’s our good friends at Ego 7 who hosted our first visit to the show.

This spring Ego 7 is giving us riding apparel for children. Fun polos, show shirts, and show jackets will arrive to complement the already popular kids’ breeches and tall boots. We think the fit and styles are going to be a big hit with kids this spring! High tech fabrics, trendy styling all in sizes for our highly competitive child riders.

Next we stop in to Trust Bits – a crowd favorite with many of our Farm House Fam. They will soon be offering an interesting concept on how to treat oral issues in horses. They’ve developed a sponge bit ( not new, I know, but hang on) this bit is SUPER soft and highly absorbent. It is paired with an oral elixir you can soak the sponge in and attach the ‘bit’ to a halter or bridle allowing the horse to wear it while treating any ailments to the lips, tongue or cheeks.

Emily over at Sixteen Cypress has some innovative new pieces on this show. She offers us some new patterns and plaids. My favorite was the Navy and Green plaid pads that also have complimenting gloves to go with. Taking your matching game up a notch! Sixteen Cypress also gives us all purpose schooling pads for the hunter jumper crowd! No longer just for dressage riders!

Look who where our next appointment is, right across the aisle with our friends at Kismet! We are REALLY excited about their kids line coming out Spring 26! The breeches and jods are going to be a huge hit with the kids! That light weight fabric is just amazing!

Kismet also has some new designs they are adding to their perforated shirt line in both casual and show tops. I am in LOVE with the upcoming chevron pattern they are adding to their perforated mesh line of show tops. No that’s not glitter, that’s perforated mesh held up to the light! Look how breathable, but still with plenty of coverage coming in 3 colors.
The classic elanorie is also making a short sleeve debut this coming spring!

If you have not seen their show coats, you are missing out! Fun colors, stretchy comfortable fabric and even sizes for lead liners!  SO many fun looks coming from Kismet! We can’t wait!

It’s about 11 am now and time for me to get moving if I have any thoughts of hitting anything on my list! So I peeled off from the rest of  my work crew to head upstairs to floors 11-14. First  stop was floor 11 – There’s an apparel and jewelry show going on, and I’m all about finding fun new accessories and jewelry for my peeps!

Right when  you pop off the elevator there is a beautiful jewelry display, I definitely want to see more from this Jeweler! Fun flirty gold tones in a variety of styles that suggest equestrian without screaming it. As I start the hunt for this jewelers booth, I’m immediately greeted by some hand bags with bit accents in bright colors with scarves. LOVE!!  However I’m not to be side tracked on my hunt for jewelry! I hit the jackpot at the end of the aisle!

Mochi jewelry has a huge beautifully displayed booth with unique pieces designed with mixed metals in a variety of lengths and styles. I took a brief video so I could show the crew when we meet up later this afternoon. We definitely need to get back up after our appointments!

On to floor 12!
This is a western floor but often you will find new attendees who offer goods for both worlds. Honestly, the upper floors, I spent a lot of time just trying to orient myself to find the booth numbers that I wanted to see. It’s a common practice to cover up your booth number up here so it makes it harder to figure out where you are.

This floor is FILLED with beautifully crafted western boots, leather belts, all manner of cowboy hats, denim and silver smiths.  But I’ve got my mind on seeing one booth in particular and I won’t be side tracked by all the rhinestones!

After getting turned around a few times, I finally found Anivac. By far the most innovative product of the ENTIRE trade show! If you own a grey horse you’re going to want to pay attention!

This self-contained bathing system is GENIUS! The creators of Anivac have developed a bathing system that is almost like carpet cleaning your horse! The system has two tanks, an optional hot water on demand option, and includes two sizes of brush head, one for large areas and one for smaller areas like legs and heads.

Simply add a few ounces of shampoo to the unit and watch as the jets clean the horse while the vacuum sucks the dirt and dirty water away into a holding tank.

The entire system leaves the horse nearly dry when complete and takes half the time of traditional bathing. You don’t even have to find a wash rack or a hose, you can bathe your horse in the grooming stall at the horse show.

It’s no louder than a barn vacuum and is perfect for winter bathing, winter dermatitis issues, pre-body clip bathing, or bathing at show venues where wash racks are far away, limited in number, or inconvenient.

Bissell is currently leasing the patent for their super popular Bissell Barkbath dual-use portable dog bath & deep cleaning system for dogs. This is a horse-sized version.

Seriously one of my favorite finds at the trade show!

As I work my way back downstairs to meet up with the crew, I stop by  Baker because – who doesn’t love Baker plaid! I met up with their social media manager who does an amazing job running their accounts. I’m introduced to their take on the ring side back pack, sun shirts accented with Baker Plaid as well as the most adorable collection of mini/foal Baker plaid accessories I have EVER seen!!! Gahh!!  Fly boots, polo’s, fly masks, blankets. SO precious!

I met up with the crew over at one of our favorite stops, GEM. Importers of Effax, Effol, Cavallo, Passier and of course my favorite foaming airvest cleaner from Go Sport (?)CHECK THIS…..

The reps here are always super nice and always send us away with samples to share with the staff at home. We get a quick showing of new products around the corner and new styles for spring from Cavallo. You’re going to love the color story for this spring!

That wraps up day one! We are headed off to an amazing dinner hosted by Equinavia with several other store owners from around the United States. The evening is filled with an amazing dining experience, fabulous conversation geared toward getting riders the products they want and need.

Thursday finds me up bright and early, ready for day two of the trade show, after grabbing my caffeine fix and a quick breakfast, the shuttle deposits me at the door, and I am off and running! Since I didn’t really get to see much on the AETA floor yesterday, I’m set to start the day with a tour of all the distributors to make sure I don’t miss a thing!

My first stop is a visit with Alice, the inventor and manufacturer of Equi-hook. If you weren’t mesmerized by their Instagram campaigns last fall like I was, are you even an equestrian? But seriously, I know my algorithms on social media for both personal and work accounts are highly tuned into getting ads for new things.  I could not by a half dozen of these fast enough and they DID NOT disappoint! All my barn besties got one for Christmas last year and loved it!

I was THRILLED to meet them in person as they introduced the product to the U.S. market through tack shops. Alice is an avid equestrian, and she knows what it’s like to struggle staying organized around the barn.  She developed a genius 3D printed bridle hook that affixes to any steel surface with an industrial-grade magnet. The higher the steel content, the better it works.

I was also thrilled to see she has expanded the line to include a whip/stick holder – perfect for slapping on jump cups in the area for easy reach!
If you’ve ever shown at TIEC, you know that the stall structures are too wide for most tack hooks and tack racks to easily slide over. Making staying organized a bit challenging. But there is plenty of steel engineered into the design of the barns, so popping these bad boys wherever makes these a MUST HAVE for your tack trunk!

Plus they come in a dozen colors, matte’s, metallics included! They were literally the talk of the trade show!  We can’t wait to get some in stock!

Next on my travels is a stop at a new jeweler to the equestrian floor. Erin Knight’s collection of equestrian jewelry was SPOT ON. Creative and unique with a touch of equestrian flair without screaming HORSE GIRL.  I love those pieces, a nod to equestrian without the dramatic shout.
A simple snaffle design worked into a bracelet, a hint of stirrup iron in a necklace, a subtle suggestion of curbchain all artfully worked into beautiful wearable pieces.

Next up, I finally have a chance to stop in at this beautiful boutique right near the atrium. I’ve been trying to stop in since yesterday morning. Stacy Bradley offers a unique style of casual wear with equestrian flair. Beautiful denim jackets, scarves, dresses, belts and more in a wide variety of designs with subtle equestrian accenting. I’m really excited to offer these pieces online, her denim jackets with silk details are just exquisite!

I’m always distracted by shiny things. I need to hurry or I’ll be late for our appointment with Lemieux! Because of course, we are obsessed with TOY PONIES!!! Not to mention checking out the latest color stories coming up for next season in saddle pads, sheets, bonnets, and more. Their collection of stirrup irons has grown to include some very impressive styles, especially in the junior irons. Which is perfect since juniors will need to be retiring those old peacock irons at the shows on Dec. 1, 2025.  Many professionals are now looking for ideas for a solid safety iron for kids that won’t break the budget. LeMeiux delivers big here with the XXXXX kids iron – get link we already have, I think.

The upcoming luggage collection from LeMieux has some really impressive pieces that store gear as well as organize without taking up a ton of space, all in pretty colors, and some conservative ones as well. Lemieux is also growing their horse boot collection, introducing new colors and new styles to an already generous selection of styles.

Of course, you’ve all been waiting for the TOY PONY update. The toy ponies are going to see a lot more pieces added to their tack rooms in a variety of colors. I’m in LOVE with the durable carrier that keeps your pony contained and your gear organized. Perfect for play time!

Next, I’m off to our appointment with The Tailored Sportsman.
The new lightweight fabric TS introduced this past spring has been a huge hit with riders everywhere, both with the price point and the style. We are excited to be bringing on new colors of these in both clarino and silicone knee patch styles. Also on the horizon for spring will be a fun selection of jewel toned sun shirts for your latest matchy matchy style!

A quick stop at Tucker Tweed to check out their latest designs did not disappoint! They’ve designed a garment bag that is long enough for your SHADBELLY!! Without all creasing the tails! I am in LOVE with this piece! Classic elegance from Tucker Tweed always proves you bring their pieces to horse shows or abroad for a trip. They’ve paired it with a handy must-have travel cosmetic bag in classic black with leather trim in your imprint of choice.

Topping off my visit to Tucker Tweed was the beautiful collaboration with Deinhardt Designs. Deinhardt created a beautiful print incorporating the TT logo and a bag into a print on a long-sleeve quarter-zip shirt that we think you’re going to LOVE!

I’m super excited for our next appointment today. RJ Classics has some amazing additions to their collection coming next year. They are all over the updated version of the polo shirt, as well as the updated versions of their training shirts. I am OBSESSED with the new ‘disappearing’ zipper shirts they have coming in the spring! They are quarter zip sun shirts, but when zipped, it’s nearly impossible to spot the zipper!  Really unique design touch!

The other new kid on the block for SS26 is going to be a new show coat they are adding to the lineup. The Monterey with the detachable cuffs and number holes gets a sibling in a high-tech fabric that offers the button-over-zip closure placket for a seamless pucker pucker-free look, and the fabric is absolutely stunning! We think eq riders are really going to go wild for this jacket, the seam work is just incredible on the back of the coat, giving the illusion of straight lines, only enhancing the look of the rider’s position!

A quick pit stop at Deignhardt designs finds me almost at the end of the day! Where has time gone! How is it possible we head home tomorrow?

If you aren’t familiar with Deinhard designs, you need to check them out. She hand sketches equestrian designs and turns them into beautiful wearable works of art!  The designs are printed onto your favorite UV fabric that offers sun protection, light-weight, breathability that not only works great as a sun shirt, but also as a baselayer in colder weather.  Deinhardt embraces bold colors in classic combinations to create these unique pieces! 10/10 a must for your closet!

I’ve got time for one last stop at Equine and Design.  Erika always has a lovely collection of equestrian apparel and gifts that are always on trend. Today is no exception! I’m in love with her Charlotte V neck pull-over sweater! As well as her new painted Tally Ho line of apparel, that fox is just stunning!  I’d be remiss not to mention her new Champagne & Banamine collection. I love her pieces, they’re always so relatable!
