We love this bit because the unique cherry roller mouthpiece really helps promote relaxation in anxious horses. The rollers can move in the horse's mouth so also help horses that like to play with their bit.

The pelham jaw piece combines the action of a snaffle and a bar and snaffle. The bit has one jaw piece but can be ridden with one or two reins. If you choose to ride with one rein, a pelham strap is needed to connect the bit rings to the rings of the scissors. The pelham is a lever-action mouthpiece. The longer the scissors, the sharper the effect. The baby pelham has short claws and therefore has a milder effect than the normal pelham. A pelham bit is mainly used for strong horses, horses with too little space in the mouth for two mouthpieces, or horses that have to get used to a bar and snaffle. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.

The cherry roller mouthpiece consists of loose rolls. These rolls discourage the horse from grabbing the bit. In addition, it can increase tongue activity, causing more saliva to be produced and the jaws more relaxed. This bit is suitable for horses that are hard in the mouth, grip the bit or have difficulty concentrating.

The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface corrosion through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and stimulates the horse's saliva production naturally. This will cause the horse to foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit. This corrosion process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits to brown-gray.
