Meet The Team - Lisa Clements

It all started in 1975 when my mom asked if I would rather have a bike or a pony… needless to say, I chose a pony, and for Christmas that year, guess what was waiting for me with the quintessential big red bow! Shadow was the best first pony - a great teacher, but he still had that little bit of pony attitude to keep things interesting. And the rest was history!

You might say I didn’t have the typical horsey upbringing. On any given day, you could find me doing a multitude of different disciplines. From galloping racehorses on the track, or training with the Royal Lipizzaner horses, to showing on the hunter/jumper circuit. When it comes to horses, I believe there is ALWAYS something new to learn, so I took every opportunity to learn as many different skills as possible! One of my most significant accomplishments growing up was ribboning in the Jr. Jumpers at Devon in 1985 with my OTTB Crystal Ship.

I am still competing today with my horse Royal Robin. He is a jack of all trades and has a blast in the high adult jumpers, adult eq, and even USDF training level dressage! COVID-19 has put a small halt on our showing endeavors for the year, but we are chomping on the bit to get back out there.

When I am not competing, I’m at home on the farm working on my small warmblood breeding operation. Ever since my first homebred “Keep The Faith” (later renamed “Snow Shower”) was everything I could have dreamed of, I’ve become passionate in the breeding aspect behind top-level show horses.

My favorite part of working at The Farm House is sharing my knowledge and favorite products with my customers! You’ll most likely hear me raving about anything and everything Ariat! I’m a bit obsessed. And when I need to embrace my inner dressage queen, I’m all about Goode Rider! I love helping customers discover their favorite brands too!
