The quilted pad is lined with Australian Merino Wool, providing all-important thermal balance by wicking excess heat and moisture off the horse’s back. Wool can absorb many times its weight in water, making it an ideal material to keep your horse’s back cool and comfortable. To provide protection and prevent pressure points under the saddle panels and point of tree, this pad includes a removable layer of hi-tech visco-elastic foam (aka memory foam) inserts. The pad also has pockets in front to hold optional inserts to help with saddle fit or conformation issues. Optional internal Risers for the rear of the pad are also available.
