PDS Showtime XCH Dressage Saddle PDS fit goes beyond interchangable gullets by providing the right panel depth and shape for your horse. In addition to the standard panels, ALTO panels are available for horses with prominent withers and greater height distances between their withers and backs. ALTO panels are deeper at the front and back of the saddle, allowing a greater clearance over the withers and spine. The addition of gussets at the front provides the extra padding necessary to sit properly just behind the shoulder where this type of horse usually lacks muscling. CORTO panels are designed for the type of horse with a short, well-developed back and muscular croup. The gusset at the rear of the saddle is flatter in order to better fit the natural contours usually found on this type of back. PDS Standard, Alto and Corto panels are specifically shaped to avoid any restriction at the back of the shoulder blade, allowing freedom for the horse and closer contact for the rider. The cut-away shape of the panel combined with an external knee block enables a noticeable increase in the horse's forward movement and it's ability to extend the shoulder.
