This takes pressure off the sensitive area of the back, allowing the hind legs to swing under, and encouraging the horse’s back to lift without interference from the saddle. 

The Amerigo Vega Monoflap Jump Saddle features an extended forward flap to accommodate the more forward leg position desired by competitive riders. The flaps have also been redesigned with a soft padded layer for additional comfort, grip and security in the saddle. This popular saddle is perfect for riders who like a close contact feel and an uninhibited leg position. Calfskin provides extra grip in the saddle and a broken-in feel from the first ride. The bottom of the flap is reinforced with cowhide for added durability.
