Foxhunters, Ponyclubbers and serious Eq. riders listen up! This little strap is an important part of proper turn out when using a pelham bit! The strap attaches to the little hole between the snaffle rein and the curb rein on either side of the bit. When properly attached the strap passes through the 'random' link in the curb chain that won't lie flat with the rest of the links. The strap keeps the chain from flopping around making excess noise while riding and also keeps it attached to the bridle if for some reason the curb chain should come detached from the curb hooks.
