Amerigo saddles are created by Peter Menet for top level performance, with correct anatomical design based on equine biomechanics. Whatever the level of your sport, the comfortable, secure balance allows a centered, relaxed seat postion, allowing your leg to naturally fall into correct postion. This in turn allows you to ride without tension, and distributes your weight over those areas of the horse's back most suited to carry it. The horse is then allowed to round his back and engage his hindquarters more easily. Crafted from top materials including a variety of wooden spring trees and wool flocked, independent Swiss-style panels, Amerigo is one of the most correctly and easily fitted saddles. All Amerigo jumping and dressage saddles are available with calfskin-covered (Pinerolo) leather, or as a Monoflap. The Amerigo Farouche is a refined saddle for the hunter and jumper arenas. This saddle is typically used for horses with moderate withers and slight compensation between pommel and cantle. Seat is one inch narrower than other jumping saddles- works well on warmbloods and warmblood crosses, quarter horses, as well as other back types without extreme withers.
